 Abstract

In this paper, we study the influence of modifying the geometry of nanotexture on its electrical properties. Nanotexture is formed by an industrially feasible dry-chemical etching process performed entirely in atmospheric pressure conditions and a surface modification process is developed. We show that by tailoring the nanotextured surface and by improving the emitter diffusion process, it is possible to reach excellent passivation level by using either PECVD or ALD deposition techniques.
