ADE for TOPCON cells - EUPVSEC 2022

In Milan's conference, Fraunhofer ISE presented its latest TOPCON cell developments, featuring ADE poly etching.

Presented by Dr. Sebastian Mack, "Status and Perspective of industrial TOPCON solar cell Development at Fraunhofer ISE" (1AO.6.3) was one of the highlights of the prestigious EUPVSEC annual conference, hosted in Milan. Continuous process improvement were presented, using industrial tools. The Fraunhofer ISE institute have adopted the ADE process from NINES PV for the single side poly-silicon etching step required in the TOPCON process, carried with their own ADE tool that has been part of their TOPCON pilot line from the start.
